HWB: Sports Day
On Friday, P2/3 took part in Sports Day. The children loved seeing their adults taking part in the races and tug of war.

Bake Off: Coronation Cupcakes
This week P2/3 have been preparing for the Bake Off. We baked blue, white, and red cupcakes. The children loved mixing the ingredients and putting the icing and sprinkles on their cakes!

Science: Gummy Bears
Last week P1 and P2/3 predicted what they thought was going to happen when we put gummy bears in water. They were amazed when the gummy bears grew in size!

Rights Respecting Schools: Healthcare
As part of the Rights Respecting Schools, Outright Campaign P2/3 were discussing what healthcare provisions are available in Fenwick village. The children then worked in groups to draw maps of where healthcare provisions are located near them.

Rights Respecting Schools: Healthcare
As part of the Rights Respecting Schools Outright Campaign P1 and P2/3 visited out local Pharmacy, which is our only Health Care Provision in the village. The children really enjoyed asking Pharmacist Ash lots of questions about his job.
P2/3 – Numeracy
Numeracy: Fractions
Last week P2/3 were learning about fractions. The children were learning how to find half of a number and to recognise what fraction of a shape was coloured.
