Today we made some magic potions whilst revising our phonemes.

The P1 children brought some fabulous home made decorations in for the classroom. Today we also completed some spooky Literacy jobs.

Today we made ourselves an Autumn Bracelet from items found in the school grounds.

Today we learnt all about the Phoneme C.  We practised our words with carrots and made birthday cakes with candles during play.

Homework should be handed in the Friday of each week – including the little word bag.

P1 have been learning about boats today and how they are able to float. We tested out everyday objects to see if they would float or sink. We also made our own boats to see how easy they were to sink. We learnt that something sinks if it pushes too much water out of its way.

Some P1s read their first book in class today. Well done everyone!

Today as part of our topic we took part in a traffic survey.  We used our Numercy skills to mark off the mode of transport, add together our totals and spoke about most and least common.
