We were exploring the properties of 3D shapes today and worked with others to count how many faces, edges and corners they had.

We have been learning about cubes and cuboids today.  We exploring building with them in the construction area.

We were learning to sort 2D shapes in different ways today e.g. by colour, by type and by number of sides.

We had fantastic examples of 2D shapes made out of playdough and discussion about the number of sides and corners.

We have been learning about the properties of 2D shapes and exploring making them with playdough and lolly sticks.

Primary 1 have been learning about 2D shapes.

This week we have been learning about circles and triangles.

We went on a circle and triangle hunt around the school and playground.  We spotted lots of circles and triangles!
