We were playing this today, it might be good fun to play at home as a family.
P1 Christmas Party
What a lot of fun at the party this afternoon. P1 all looked fantastic in their party clothes and showed off their super dance moves. We played lots of games including pass the parcel and musical statues. We enjoyed a snack and a special message from Santa all the way from the North Pole!
P1 Panto
P1 thoroughly enjoyed watching the panto, Cinderella in our Pantomime Room. Lots of shouts to hear Buttons and Cinderella!
P1 Christmas Directions
We used the beebots and Lego people to find different Christmas objects. P1 created beebot mazes as well. Super use of directions!
P1 Beebots
We used our knowledge of directions – forwards, backwards, left and right to programme the Beebots to find different things.
P1 Writing
Some fabulous examples of writing today. We were writing about what we love about Christmas.
P1 Xmas Prep
Today the boys and girls put the Christmas Tree up and decorated it all by themselves. Henrietta the Hedgehog has made herself comfy.
P1 Left and Right
We learnt about directions and have been practising our left and right. Mrs Conetta’s top teacher tip was to hold out our hands in front of us, keep all fingers straight and stick out thumb out to the side and see which hand makes a capital L. This is our left hand!
We directed our friends around a grid using the directions – forwards, backwards, left and right.
