P1 Topic
Our new Topic is based on a book called “There’s a Woo in the Wild Wood”. All about a wizard called Jamie. The class were introduced to the main character today and got a chance to be wizards.
P1 Learning
Busy bees during Numeracy today. We have been counting and displaying items from 0 to 20 and even started to complete addition calculations.

P1 Numeracy with Mrs C
Primary 1 have been learning about 2D shapes.
This week we have been learning about circles and triangles.
We went on a circle and triangle hunt around the school and playground. We spotted lots of circles and triangles!
P1 Tuesday Tasks
Today we had a very busy day. We were –
Using Numicon to explore numbers to 10 and then we practised our formation of 0 and 1.
We then took our learning outside to practise some more formation of numbers.
Well also completed a writing task all about what we like to do in the playground.
P1 Sumdog (Homework)
Your child has a copy of their username and password for their Sumdog account in their school bags. Sumdog is used both in the classroom and at home. For homework this week you should familiarise your child with the app. They will also be doing this in school.
