P1 – Fun with our birds.

This morning we found our birds had caused a little mess.

We took them to P.E with us and learned all about North and South. And we played a funny game called Rob the Nest.

This afternoon we went out to collect bugs and worms for our birds to eat and James had a fabulous idea to make some nests for them.

P1 were busy birds today.

Some little birds came to our classroom for us to look after. Keep checking our blog for the birds’ adventures.

We counted to 20 using items outdoors. Helping us to recognise the numbers 11-20.

We practiced reading our sounds and common words.

We hunted in our books for sounds and words we now recognise as well as using the iPads to practice formation.
