On Thursday 31st the pupils have been asked to bring in or decorate a boiled egg for a Parent Council Competiton. PLEASE NOTE –
P1 will be unable to take part in this due to a severe egg allergy. We will still take part in the competition using different materials.
Please do not bring an egg into class that day.
This afternoon we investigated –
Floating and Sinking
Using light to make words disappear.
And a STEM challenge to build the tallest tower.
The boys and girls wanted to show you who came to visit our classroom.
Meet Sparky the Dragon.
Sparky – (press to watch).
To encourage the dragon back to out class and help him save Fairyland the pupils decided to read Jack and the Beanstalk.
We used some magic beans at Numeracy time to help us count and we have begun to use teamwork skills to make our own beanstalk. We hope the dragon comes back.
Today a dragon visited our class during lunch time and left us us a letter. The letter asked us to help save Fairyland by believing in and reading Fairytales. Keep and eye on our Blog to see how we help the Dragon.

Have a look at the school twitter page to see what we have been up to today.
We had lots of fun today outside at the Hexagol and then had some yummy pancakes. We ate so fast though there is no photo evidence of the pancakes.
At the end of last term P1 were sent home with Book Bug Bags. These bags had in them 3 books, an activity book, white board and pencils. If you would like to answer a survey about these bags please click the link below.
