We learnt about directions and have been practising our left and right. Mrs Conetta’s top teacher tip was to hold out our hands in front of us, keep all fingers straight and stick out thumb out to the side and see which hand makes a capital L. This is our left hand!
We directed our friends around a grid using the directions – forwards, backwards, left and right.

Today we worked at different stations to practise our sending and receiving. We practised our forehand and also practised feeding the ball to a partner.
Today some of the boys and girls wanted to show off their talents for the talent show. We also took part in Joe Wick’s Work it Out for Children in Need and completed some Chikdren in Need activities in class.

We were exploring the properties of 3D shapes today and worked with others to count how many faces, edges and corners they had.
The achievement tab does not seem to be working this morning.

It was a noisy day in Primary 1 as we explored the sense of Hearing. We played sound bingo and then explored musical instruments, glass bottles filled with water and an electronic piano.
Yesterday P1 made some sparklers using some leaves.
