Compass Points<\/span><\/h1>\n

We have been learning the names of the 8 compass points .<\/span><\/h3>\n

We have used this knowledge to find locations on the map of Orkney and to help us understand some of the locations in our class novel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we took our learning outdoors and used compasses \u00a0to \u00a0find \u00a0where north is in our playground and then we located \u00a0the other 7points on the compass.<\/span><\/p>\n

We then gave \u00a0and followed directions to navigate the playground.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not even the rain could stop us enjoying this task !<\/span>
