{"id":1176,"date":"2021-11-19T10:48:08","date_gmt":"2021-11-19T10:48:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/fenwickprimaryschool\/?page_id=1176"},"modified":"2021-11-19T10:48:08","modified_gmt":"2021-11-19T10:48:08","slug":"anti-bullying-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/fenwickprimaryschool\/parent-council\/anti-bullying-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-Bullying Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Anti-bullying: Respect for All Policy<\/h2>\n<p>East Ayrshire\u2019s <a class=\"sys_21\" title=\"Anti-bullying: Respect for All Policy\" href=\"https:\/\/www.east-ayrshire.gov.uk\/Resources\/PDF\/A\/Anti-bullying-respect-for-all.pdf\">Anti-bullying: Respect for All Policy (PDF 2.07Mb)<\/a> was created through a process that involved a small working group reviewing and revising the previous policy, and in consultation with:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pupils<\/li>\n<li>parents<\/li>\n<li>staff<\/li>\n<li><a class=\"sys_16\" title=\"Respectme\" href=\"https:\/\/respectme.org.uk\/\">respectme Scotland\u2019s Anti-Bullying Service<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Policy purpose<\/h2>\n<p>The purpose of this policy is to support the development of respectful relationships within learning settings for children and young people aged 3-18 in East Ayrshire.<\/p>\n<p>In East Ayrshire, learning settings promote respectful relationships approaches, but in line with national guidance the term bullying is used in this policy for incidents where someone is physically, emotionally, mentally or verbally hurt by another individual or group of people.<\/p>\n<h2>Policy scope<\/h2>\n<p>This policy will apply to all learning settings and to all practitioners within the framework of Curriculum for Excellence.
