P5/6 IDL

During our topic “150 Years of the Scottish Cup”, the boys and girls in P5/6 developed their mapping skills by locating the football teams involved in the Scottish Cup on a map of Scotland. The children used digital technology, including an online map and an atlas, to find each team and then pinpoint their locations on a blank map.

P5/6 IDL

P5/6 have taken part in the ‘If I ruled Scotland’ competition run by The Hunters Foundation.

The children worked as a class to identify a problem in Scotland, explain why it was a problem, and then created solutions to address the issue.

The children created a video clip highlighting the importance of making all parks in Scotland accessible to all children.

We visited Fenwick Park to shoot our video clip and used illustrations to highlight the changes we would make to make the park accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
