P5/6 have been learning about 150 Years of the Scottish Cup. The children studied the Scottish Cup trophy, learned about the symbolism behind the engravings and ‘the wee man at the top’ and then created their own trophy which represented them, with symbols relating to their hobbies and interests.

P5/6 have had a great day celebrating Children in Need.
The children took part in a Pudsey scavenger hunt, played ‘Bear Pong’, took part in a Children in Need Blooket competition, coloured in Pudsey art, took part in a Children in Need workout, and carried out Challenge 25 where they worked in teams to build a Lego house for Pudsey.

P5/6 had a amazing day celebrating Halloween through a ‘design Miss Cunningham’s Halloween costume task’, a spooky Halloween themed reading comprehension and £D artwork, finishing our day with a great Halloween party. 🎃👻

P5/6 worked in groups to order the events of the Titanic disaster to create a timeline. The children were against the clock and the winning team received 5 Ambition House Points each.

P5/6 have been developing their mental agility when recalling times tables through playing different games: times table puzzles, uno, battleships, and KABOOM.
It was lovely welcoming in parents and carers into the P5/6 classroom this afternoon, for pupils to share their learning in numeracy with their adults.

P5/6 have been consolidating their knowledge of Place Value and Rounding through a range of active games.
