During our topic “150 Years of the Scottish Cup”, the boys and girls in P5/6 developed their mapping skills by locating the football teams involved in the Scottish Cup on a map of Scotland. The children used digital technology, including an online map and an atlas, to find each team and then pinpoint their locations on a blank map.

P5/6 have been learning about 150 Years of the Scottish Cup. The children studied the Scottish Cup trophy, learned about the symbolism behind the engravings and ‘the wee man at the top’ and then created their own trophy which represented them, with symbols relating to their hobbies and interests.

The children in P5/6 received a ticket for Whoville where they had breakfast and watched the Grinch.
