Hello,
Happy new year to you all!
I hope you all had a lovely break!
I have not forgot to post all of the pictures and activities from December, it is on my to do list for this week!
Homework for this week:
Literacy- I have created a worksheet for pupils to practice spelling their new spelling words!
Maths- I have attached a link that will take them to Topmarks game. I am looking for them to play the “number bonds game”. They have the choice to do number bonds to 10, or 20, and if they want to challenge themselves to go beyond, then they can.

Hello,
Myself and Claudette would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone for our beautiful and thoughtful gifts! You are all far too kind!
We truly appreciate them and are so lucky to be able to teach such a wonderful class.
Over the next few days I will be posting pictures of what we have been up to in the class in December.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes.
See you all in the New Year!

Over the last few Thursdays , P2 have been developing their knowledge of telling the time, using both digital and analogue clicks.
Please find attached, 3 links to games which would consolidate their knowledge of o’clock, half past and quarter to. There are 2 additional levels in game 3 which cover time to the nearest 5 minutes and nearest minute, which has not been tackled in class. However, if you like a challenge and have the time to explore this, give it a try. These games can be completed multiple times, to help consolidate learning.

Primary 2 had a lovely day, raising awareness of Children in Need. We completed our 25 star jump challenge, searched for Pudsey in a scavenger hunt through the school and decorated some very tasty looking Pudsey biscuits!
The children looked fabulous in all their Pudsey outfits-thank you!
Feel free to make a donation to the official Children in Need 2025 fundraiser.

Hello,
Next Wednesday we will start to create our lanterns for light up Fenwick.
Can I ask that all the pupils bring in a 2L empty plastic bottle to allow to make our lanterns on time.
Thankyou:)
BRRRR! On Thursday, Primary 2 took their numeracy learning outside. Despite the cold weather, Primary 2 enjoyed using chalks to draw their clocks on the playground and demonstrated their knowledge of half past and o’clock. Well done everyone!

Hello, I hope you had a lovely October break:)
For homework this week, the pupils will be asked to complete another look, cover, write and check worksheet practicing their spelling words that they have been learning in class. They can use any type of pen or pencil to complete their homework.
Reading books have been sent home this week. They can read these as of and when they wish as part of their reading for enjoyment. Could I ask that all reading books are kept in their bag to ensure they are in school when needed.
Any questions please feel free to give me a message,
Thanks
Cara:)
