This week, the primary 2 pupils have a fun spiral spelling activity to complete.

I have provided a spiral spelling worksheet along with a list of our common words. Using coloured pencils and pens, pupils can choose six tricky words they would like to practice reading and spelling. Writing these tricky words on their spiral helps them see, say and memorise the spelling words.

For reading, I would love the pupils to keep practising their reading books, focusing on sounding out and blending words that feel a little challenging.

Please also remind them to spend some time learning their lines for our Nativity!
