Any questions, please feel free to give me an email.
I have not forgot to post all of the pictures and activities from December, it is on my to do list for this week!
Homework for this week:
Literacy- I have created a worksheet for pupils to practice spelling their new spelling words!
Maths- I have attached a link that will take them to Topmarks game. I am looking for them to play the “number bonds game”. They have the choice to do number bonds to 10, or 20, and if they want to challenge themselves to go beyond, then they can.
For homework this week, the pupils will be asked to complete another look, cover, write and check worksheet practicing their spelling words that they have been learning in class. They can use any type of pen or pencil to complete their homework.
Reading books have been sent home this week. They can read these as of and when they wish as part of their reading for enjoyment. Could I ask that all reading books are kept in their bag to ensure they are in school when needed.
Any questions please feel free to give me a message,
Over the past few weeks, Primary 2 have been working very hard on learning the “ch” sound. To celebrate the end of our learning, we went outside for some fun activities! The pupils took part in a race where they had to run to me, write down the word I called out, and then run back to their team. Everyone had a fantastic time- the children were so enthusiastic and competitive!
Primary 2 have been consolidating sounds and learning new ones.
Yesterday we were learning words with sh and revising the a sound. We used our show me boards and various other activities to practise writing our new spelling words.
