The Scottish Advisory Group on Relationships and Behaviour in Schools (SAGRABIS), promotes an emphasis on positive relationships and behaviour in schools in order to support children and young people to develop and achieve the four capacities as outline within Curriculum for Excellence.
It is known that children and young people learn and develop best when supported by positive, safe and secure relationships. Therefore, within East Ayrshire, we aim to promote and develop this throughout the authority by following our Relationships Framework.
The Relationships Framework is based on 8 key assumptions and focuses on Nurture, Restorative, Resilience, Solution Oriented and Rights Based Approaches.
