PE AND OUTDOOR LEARNING DAYS – SESSION 2025/26

Children are asked to come to school wearing their gym kit on their gym days. Children should wear their school polo shirt/school shirt/school jumper as normal on these days, they do not need to wear a t-shirt or any special sports clothes. Children will remove their ties if they are being worn and their jumpers to take part in any gym lesson. They may wear joggers/leggings and gym shoes or trainers.

Please see below for days that your child will participate in PE activities for session 2025/26.

P1/2 – Wednesday and Thursday

P2/3 – Monday and Friday

P4/5 – Monday and Thursday

P5/6 – Tuesday and Friday

P7 – Tuesday and Friday

 

Outdoor Learning

We are a big believer in outdoor learning at Muirkirk Primary and utilise the outdoors to enhance the learning experience of our pupils. We ask that on the days your child does outdoor learning that they come dressed appropriately. The school can provide welly boots. On the following days (usually every fortnight), your child may take part in outdoor learning activities. Please check with them the night before if they are going outdoors.
