Dear Parents/Carers of S3 Pupils
S3 PARENTS EVENING – APPOINTMENTS
You will receive an email tomorrow (1st December) from our Parents Evening Booking platform, Parents Booking, to the email address we hold on file. Please check your junk/spam folders.
Once registered, you will be able to book appointments with staff for our upcoming S3 Parents Evening on Wednesday 8th December (4:30pm – 6:30pm).
Please note:
For pupils in Miss Kane’s English class – unfortunately Miss Kane is not able to hold appointments on the evening of Wednesday 8th December. She is, however, able to host appointments on Tuesday 7th December from 4pm until 6pm. Pupils in Miss Kane’s English class will see two different events when they log in to the system – one for English and one for all other subjects. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have used this software for our S1 and S5/6 Parents Evening and the feedback from staff and parents has been generally positive. As with any IT system there can be technical issues. If we can help with digital access/provision in any way please contact our school office and we will do our best to help.
Should you have any difficulty, please contact the school office on 01563 549988 and we will do our best to help you. An information help sheet is also attached to this message.
Kind regards

Please find attached an overview of Supported Study provision which commences from Monday 29th November. There is a wide range of subject provision across departments including sessions before, during and after school.
A huge thank you to staff across the school for offering these additional opportunities for learners to access further support. Please encourage your son/daughter to take up the opportunities available – further events will take place after the Christmas Holidays.
Kind regards

Would all parents, carers and pupils please note the following information as to the timings of the flu immunisations. Due to the large number of pupils involved this is spread across 5 days:
Wednesday 29th September – All of S6 plus 5D2, 5G1, 5G2, 5H1 & 5H2
Thursday 30th September – 5B1, 5B2 & 5D1 plus All of S4 (except 4B1)
Friday 1st October – All of S3 plus 4B1
Thursday 11th November – All of S2 plus 1H2
Friday 12th November – All of S1 (except 1H2)
Thanks to all who have returned consent forms. The NHS staff will be based in the Assembly Hall on these dates.
Our office staff have collated the returns and will put copies of the pupils’ names and the date and time of their immunisation up in The Street Area.
The information for the first three days, which takes place next week, have now been posted in The Street area. Pupils involved in these dates should check on Monday what date and time their immunisation has been scheduled for and add a reminder on their phone with an alert set to make sure that they go to the Assembly Hall at the correct time.
The sheets for the two dates that involve S1 and S2 in November will be posted in The Street on Monday 8th November and again S1 and S2 pupils should add a reminder and alert onto their phones and go to the Assembly Hall at that time.
If your child’s name is not on the sheets and they do wish the flu nasal immunisation they should collect a consent form from the office and return the signed form to either Mrs Crawford in the morning or hand directly into the office as soon as possible.
Kind Regards
Elaine Crawford
