Hello everyone,
My name is Hazel Wills and I am PEEP trained. Peeple is a charity founded in 1995 and its main aims is to enhance children’s outcomes through making the most of play and learning opportunities. I am qualified to deliver the Peep Let’s Learn Together Programme which is for sharing information and ideas to support parents and carers to deliver high quality play and learning to enhance their children’s outcomes.
There is so much to Peep, it supports social interactions within the community, helps loneliness, helps social interaction in children, provides your child with lots of play and learning opportunities.
There is a range of 74 topics covering 5 learning strands which I can use for parent support and information if required.

Lorraine our practitioner’s advice on communication and language development –
Sitting on the floor in your home environment with your child enables good eye contact and imitating facial expressions, it can be a wee story, rhyme/ song time or just a wee blether! It’s all about creating good quality time together and helping to develop their confidence and social skills . Adding some favourite soft toys or dolls adds to their imagination and your wee one is learning to share and take turns while having fun singing and learning new words. Children have a wonderful imagination and all helps with their communication and language development.
Wee ideas: can you make and decorate your own song/ rhyming bag or box ( old shoebox) ?
Add music to your songtime, introducing rhythm , pots and pans with metal or wooden spoons make fabulous sounds!!
Wee ones love a tea party, in these lockdown times why not create your favourite cafe in your home!
