Community Based Adult Learning

Community Based Adult Learning offers a variety of learning opportunities.

You may want to:

  • ease gently back into learning if your confidence is low, therefore the Health and wellbeing course might be where you want to start (baby steps.)
  • improve your employability opportunities, therefore ELEVATE would allow you to develop a CV and job and interview skills progressing to SHINE to make sure you are job ready. Most courses have a qualification attached which can be used for job applications.
  • gain skills and registering for the Me2U course would provide you with volunteering opportunities to develop skills necessary for 21st Century work.
  • contact Vibrant Communities who can provide volunteering opportunities in a variety of settings, matching your skills and interests to our/your needs.
  • have support for digital skills and DWP requirements which you can access within our job clubs in 5 locations East Ayrshire wide.

Vibrant Communities Service provide additional Community Based Adult Learning support in:

  • Adult Literacies
  • Family Learning
  • Digital Literacies
  • English as a Second or Other Language
  • Gaelic, Language and Culture
