Technology<\/p>\n

Last week one of our sounds was “k” so\u00a0 we decided to make kites.\u00a0 We had also been looking at weather veins we can see from the playground and discussing the wind as part of our weather topic (more pictures to follow).<\/p>\n

All of the children managed to cut their own dowel with a hacksaw and followed the kite-making instructions really well to complete the task.<\/p>\n

Hopefully the rain goes off soon and we can get outside to test them out.<\/p>\n

The children are also now “partner spelling”\u00a0 2 days per week and are enjoying working in pairs to read and write their spelling words.<\/p>\n
