It provides clear definitions of some of the commonly used terms in numeracy and mathematics. I am a Mathematician<\/strong>
\nEducation Scotland has launched its \u2018I am a mathematician\u2019<\/a>\u00a0resource to help parents and carers support their children\u2019s learning with engaging activities to do at home. Evidence suggests that children\u2019s enthusiasm can be affected by a lack of confidence. Parents and carers can play a vital role in reinforcing the importance of maths to their children, promoting a positive attitude towards it and making it a fun activity to do together as a family.<\/p>\n
