The children had a great discussion about how important maths is when taking part in sporting activities. The children threw javelins and then measured how far they had thrown them.
For today’s Maths lesson, Primary 7 went outside to do some maths activities. We did a Maths Question Hunt with lots of different questions hidden around the playground. Along with some activities such as Place Value Bingo, a Maths Relay Race and much more. All of us had great fun and we hope to do it again.

As part of Maths Week Scotland, Primary 7 have been making Clip movies on the iPads about jobs that use Maths to help them. We have found out that there is loads and loads of jobs that use Maths such as chefs, pilots, builders and many more. It was fun creating them and we would love to do it again.
