Today we enjoyed learning to round numbers to the nearest 100 by taking part in different games and challenges.
We can’t wait to try out some more tomorrow!

We have been doing lots of science experiments to learn about the stages of The Water Cycle. Today was cloud busting day!
We learned what happens in the clouds during the water cycle. When too many water droplets accumulate, they fall in the form of PRECIPITATION. We were amazed at how many drops it took to burst our clouds. Our predictions were way off.
We discussed how temperature affects the form of precipitation too. (rain, hail, sleet and snow)
Great fun had by all and super learning too.
I thought you might like to hear the song “Good Things” which the children performed for the senior citizens today. They sang and danced beautifully and made everyone smile especially me!
As part of our IDL topic on France, the children researched famous French Landmarks and produced incredible posters. They were given a criteria which every single piece of work successfully included.
Well done P4. I’m very impressed with your work and your confidence presenting them to your own group.
Kilmarnock Football Club have been working with the children in P4 on their football skills. This has been great fun and we are glad that Coach Jack has been enjoying it so much that he has extended our sessions for another few weeks. Hooray!
It was absolutely lovely to see the children and their visitors enjoying this experience together. Thank you for giving up your time.
P4 are loving their peer massage in class and we look forward to a very relaxed year!
Thank you to all our visitors who popped in to see what Primary 4 were up to in literacy. We worked together in our Carousel Groups on ‘amazing adjectives’ and then had fun making our own ‘mini me’ with personality and behaviour adjectives. I know that some of you enjoyed having an input with this! 🙂
