P4 Scottish Wild Animal Talks

The children have worked hard over the last couple of weeks researching animals which are found in our beautiful countryside.

This week the Primary 4 children presented their PowerPoints and posters to the rest of the class as their first assessed talk for this session.

We learned about a huge variety of amazing creatures.

I was totally blown away by the effort the children put in and also the

pride they took in their work.

Fantastic everyone.

P4 Halloween Fun

We have had a day of fun celebrating Halloween. Lots of smiles and laughter. The children have enjoyed a Pumpkin Drive in class. They also made fabulous Roosting Bat pictures. Outside they played the Spooky Corners Game and completed our Pumpkin Trail . We rounded off our Mexico Topic with our Chilli Jelly Tasting Challenge and the movie Coco this afternoon.

Happy Halloween everyone!

P4 Roald Dahl Day

The children in P4  came to school dressed in yellow (Roald Dahl’s favourite colour) and had a day celebrating his wonderful books. We completed a mental maths quiz with some of his much loved characters. We joined in the Puffin School Activity session which was great fun. We listened to extracts from some of his famous novels and we took part in a drawing class to create one of the mice from the book “The Witches”. The drawings are amazing!
