What a busy week we have all had participating in Maths Week Scotland. Please click on the attached link to see a SWAY of all the different activities our classes have participated in. There are also additional updates on the class blogs.
Marty visited p4 for the first time today. The children had fun using the iPads to give instructions to make Marty move in various ways.
To complete maths week the children turned the number seven into a dragon during our art lesson.
Primary 6 created cardioids this week. We created curved lines while only using a ruler!
During maths week Primary 2 have been learning about the number 5. In class we had a number hunt to see if we could find the number 5 in the classroom.
We then tried to make the number 5 using our bodies in groups.
Finally we used classroom resources to make the number 5.
We have had a lot of fun trying to make the number 5 in different ways. Well Done Primary 2!
As this week is Maths Week, we have been working on creating our own characters using only numbers! The children had a lot of fun using a range of different numbers to create their own characters.
Here are some examples of some characters we have been working to create.
Well Done Primary 2!
