We recreated Van Gogh’s Sunflower art and made some of our own beautiful flowers using oil pastels and added a burst of colour. The children loved this and really took their time to make these look wonderful! I am sure you will agree they are amazing and really brighten up your day.

P2 Spring flowers
P2 Musical Spelling
The children enjoyed making some noise with our musical spelling game.
P3a Litter Picking
As we have been learning all about the importance of recycling and waste minimisation, this afternoon we went out litter picking in the park and around the daily mile. We found lots of litter lying around our school.
P3a Recycled Paper
We have been learning all about sustainability and the importance to reduce, reuse and recycle. Last week in class we recycled our own paper by gathering lots of shredded paper, soaking it in water and using a blender to blitz it down to a fine pulp. Our favourite part was when we had to rinse all of the water out by squeezing the mixture with our hands.
P3a Superheroes
We had a great time last week creating and designing our own superhero masks to wear on Red Nose Day and to say a final goodbye to our favourite jannie Mr Stewart
P4 Superheroes!
The theme for Comic Relief today is superheroes. We made our own amazing masks which we will wear today to say goodbye to our own superhero Mr Stewart.
Here are our Primary 4 superheroes of 2020-2021!
Primary 2 Spelling Swat Game
The children worked together in pairs. One partner says a word and the other partner must quickly find the word and swat it!
Science Primary 1
We have had lots of fun exploring sound and vibrations.
Can you hear sound in all directions?
Yes, we could hear each other no matter what direction we were facing.
We could feel the vibration when we spoke into our kazoo’s.
We made string telephones and investigated how the vibration travels along the string. We could hear each other clearly when the string was pulled tight.
We made paper and card flowers, folded them up and floated them in our ‘ponds.’ No-one predicted that they would open out. Great excitement!
