We have been investigating our sense of hearing.
As part of our learning we found out that sound vibrates in our ears.
We made cord telephones to investigate the vibration of sound.

P2B Symmetry
P2B have been learning all about symmetry in Maths. We have created loads of symmetrical patterns using numicon, mirrors and different shapes.
We also created a class symmetrical pattern in the gym hall which we loved doing.
Primary 3 Science Experiments
We have been having lots of fun with our senses topic.
We have been learning about the importance of our sight and how to keep our eyes protected. We also know The Creakers don’t like light so we designed glasses to protect their eyes from the sun. We tried them on to make sure they worked.
I am sure the children will have told you all about The Creakers and how much they like rubbish. I hope you agree the children have designed super glasses to protect The Creakers and their own eyes from the sun.
Shared Learning
Primary 6 and 7 have been learning about the human body. As part of this topic they are learning about the respiratory system. Primary 7 very kindly came into primary 6 today to share their posters and facts. The children spoke confidently and demonstrate some great understanding about a complicated subject, well done P7!
Primary 6 are now creating their own posters to show demonstrate their knowledge. Watch this space!
P7 Science Posters
As part of our Human Body topic, primary 7 have been learning about the respiratory system. Pupils had to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding by completing a poster displaying as much information as possible. Each pair then peer-assessed their posters against the success criteria and provided next steps.

Buddy Magic
Primary 6 have loved having the opportunity to meet their buddies and getting to know them. This week has seen the preschoolers from the ECC having their first transition days into primary 1. This can be a daunting experience for some but as you can see from the pictures the room was full of smiling faces, Primary 6 also loved having fun with the play dough!
