Good Afternoon,

One of our fantastic children has sent us some photographs of him baking some delicious muffins at home this week.   I hope you enjoyed making and eating them!

There are many learning opportunities while baking with your children; Listening – following verbal instructions from you, maths – counting out the ingredients required, science – seeing the ingredients change from one thing to another and they are developing their hand and eye co-ordination – pouring ingredients into the bowl/cake cases. Most of all, it is fun! Playing, having fun and taking part in real life experiences are one of the best ways for children to learn.
