Baking At Home

Good Afternoon,

One of our fantastic children has sent us some photographs of him baking some delicious muffins at home this week.   I hope you enjoyed making and eating them!

There are many learning opportunities while baking with your children; Listening – following verbal instructions from you, mathscounting out the ingredients required, scienceseeing the ingredients change from one thing to another and they are developing their hand and eye co-ordination pouring ingredients into the bowl/cake cases. Most of all, it is fun! Playing, having fun and taking part in real life experiences are one of the best ways for children to learn.

We love to see what your children have been doing at home.  You can email us at:    eadunlop.ecc@eastayrshire.org.uk

We all hope you have a wonderful weekend and we are looking forward to welcoming you back next week.

Take care,

Mrs Marshall

Big Cook Little Cook

Good Afternoon,

I hope you are all doing well.

As you know March is our STEAM month and unfortunately with us all being at home we are not able to carry out all our lovely baking experiences we had planned for this week.  We will provide these experiences on our return but, we wanted to share the recipes with you so if you would like, you can do some baking at home.

As always please do not feel any pressure in doing any of the experiences we suggest but, if you do please send us some photographs and let us know how you got on.

Kind Regards

Mrs Marshall
