For World Book day yesterday we read the story ‘The Colour Monster’.  The children went on a hunt outside looking for pictures of ‘The Colour Monster’, they painted and drew pictures of him and we spent a long time talking about the different feelings ‘The Colour Monster’ went through.  The children discussed what makes them feel happy, sad, angry, scared and loved.  We also took part in some relaxation to practice being calm.
