The children have been exploring numbers in the ECC, creating sequences, (number lines) using different materials to represent number, counting the dots on the dominoes to identify regular dot patterns and using the pipes and cars to investigate length and distance.

I have explored numbers, understanding that they represent quantities, and I can use them to count, create sequences and describe order.
