The children began the week collecting natural materials during our park walks. We use the story of ‘Room on the Broom’ as a provocation, encouraging the children to discuss what may be needed to make a strong broomstick. The children worked in small groups making decisions about the materials they needed and how they could use them. Some of the children then demonstrated how the characters would use the broomstick.
