On Friday we end with a energetic and fun Bookbug session. The children have the opportunity to sing songs, get to know a variety of traditional and modern rhymes, listen to and take part in a range of stories and have lots of giggles during  lycra play.

Recently the afternoon children requested ‘There’s a Monster in Your Book’ which provided the opportunity to encouraged  the children physical movement skills. This week the story was ‘We’re going on a Pumpkin Hunt,’ which was a little Halloween twist on ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ “Go through it” was the cry as the story unfolded.

The children became 5 Little Monkeys and 5 Little Speckled Frogs, energetically swinging in the trees and jumping into the pond. We end our session by singing our ‘Goodbye Everyone’ song and saying goodbye to Bookbug until next time.
