The morning children took part in a ‘Number Hunt’ during their park walk, we begin by using 1-1 correspondence as we count the children and adults before we leave the setting. We then looked for written numbers in our local environment, car registration, ages on gym equipment, signs on fences and park benches are just some of the areas we found numbers. The children then noticed numbers on their waterproof clothing and even their gloves.
