Our Caterpillars

Over in the garden,

under a tree.

I saw some fuzzy caterpillars

one, two, three.

Over in the garden under the moon.

Each caterpillar spun herself a cacoon.

Over in the garden right before my eyes,

those caterpillars all turned

into butterflies!

Our four tiny little caterpillars have eaten, lots and lots of their special food growing big and strong. It has been fancinating to watch their life cycle so far. We began with tiny eggs which then grew in to large hairy caterpillars, they have now moved to  the top of their home and begun to spin their cacoons. I will soon move them into their new home and wait for their final transformation.

Mrs Gray.
