We finally finished constructing our fairyland castle this week. We have really enjoyed dressing up and playing in the castle. The dragon came again this morning and thanked us for our hard work creating fairyland for him. He was really happy with our work but also a little bit sad because he will no longer be writing to us. All of the fairytale characters are really happy that they now have a home again!
Jenna and Kelsie were a great help when Mrs Wilson was building the castle!

This afternoon, we have been using our imaginations to create our own dragons. We had to think about what the dragon would look like, the magical powers it has and what our dragon would be called. We will be writing about our dragons tomorrow morning!

Our topic this term is “Fairyland” the children may have already told you that we have regular visits from a friendly dragon, who has asked us to help him rebuild a fairytale land in our classroom. So far, we have build Jack a beanstalk to climb and this week we will be turning our travel agents into a magic castle! On Monday, the dragon came to our class during playtime!! He gave us a little surprise and did something a little naughty to our writing jotters! Mrs Wilson wasn’t happy with him!! He has turned our writing jotters into castle books and has asked us to write about more fairytales!
Wow, Primary 1. This is exciting. I wonder what he will do next!!! (From Mrs O’Driscoll)
