Tomorrow (Friday 11th December) is our class ‘Mini Christmas Day’! Pupils can wear Christmas jumpers/t-shirts. We are heading up the ‘Bing’ after break and will be back to school in time for our Christmas lunch. Please bring wellies/walking boots as it will be muddy and a warm, waterproof jacket. Our afternoon plans are a Christmas movie and pupils have been asked to vote using the Class Teams. Pupils will choose either Elf or Home Alone. As both of these are rated a PG, please contact the school if you do not wish your child to watch either of these. If you are happy with this, no need to contact us. Many thanks! The pupils are looking forward to our festive day as our P6/7 Family!
We have been linking our learning of our local environment, digital and literacy skills today! During our walks, we are developing our knowledge of trees and wildlife. We have developed online research skills to create a PowerPoint about a tree species we see in our community. We are looking forward to using this knowledge to present our PowerPoint and to support us in identifying trees on our next outing to Pennyvenie Bing tomorrow morning.
