Be Bright Be Seen

In November, we celebrated ‘Road Safety Week’ with various activities to teach us how to cross the road and to ‘Be Bright Be Seen’ in the dark mornings and evenings.  Our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSOs) planned and organised our assembly, read ‘Ziggy and the Lollipop’ road safety story for our ECC pupils and planned activities for our ‘Be Bright Be Seen’ event at the end of the week.

Our Campus Police Officer chatted to our ECC  and classes to teach the importance of Road Safety.  He handed out goodie bags with reflective items to our younger pupils, along with a story about the role of a Police Officer.

We had a variety of road safety themed activities including bingo, stories, wordsearches, crosswords and even a ‘Glow Stick Disco’!

Prizes were awarded by our JRSO’s for the brightest costumes!

Prizes were also awarded for  ‘High Viz Vest’ designs!
