Crosshouse is an attractive village that is located 3 miles from Kilmarnock and 5 miles from Irvine. Crosshouse has a number of shops, church, library and the school itself. Crosshouse Primary School and Communication Centre is situated at the heart of the village and welcomes pupils from Knockentiber, surrounding farms, outlying houses and the village itself.
