Today we used Fairtrade chocolate and cocoa to make brownies. We followed the recipe, measured the ingredients out and wrote the recipe out. And of course we tasted it!😄

French- Body Parts
Today we enjoyed using Mr Potato head to learn about our body parts in French. We rolled the dice and tried to be the first team to read the words in French and collect all body parts to complete Mr Potato Head.

We used our measuring and knife skills to make our entry for the school bake off. We can read and follow a recipe to prepare some delicious food using seasonal apples.

P2 enjoyed carrying out different spelling activities during our literacy time today.
Phonics – Active Literacy
P1 love using the ActivPanel to show their learning in Active Literacy. Today we were spelling ‘oa’, ‘wh’ and ‘-an’ words.
Monster Description
We have been reading the story, The Huge Bag of Worries.
We drew a worry monster and then have to describe it in our writing. After that, we had to read our description to a partner and they had to draw it to check that we had included enough detail.
