\ud83d\udce3 Important Information for Parents \u2013 Taking Temperatures & Managing Illness<\/b><\/div>\n
At Fenwick ECC, the health and wellbeing of all children is our highest priority. If we have reason to believe a child is unwell or may have a raised temperature, a member of our ECC staff will gently take their temperature using a digital thermometer. We will record this and communicate the result with you. This will always be done respectfully, with the child\u2019s dignity and comfort maintained at all times.<\/div>\n

With the rise in winter illnesses and other infections at certain times of year, we remain especially vigilant; however, temperatures may be taken at any point during the ECC term if we suspect that a child might be unwell.<\/div>\n

A child is generally considered to have a fever if their body temperature is 38\u00b0C (100.4\u00b0F) or higher. (Defined by NHS)<\/div>\n
