The Reading Leadership Committee group met yesterday to plan next week’s World Book Day event which will take place on Thursday 7th March.<\/p>\n
They decided that each pupil should bring in their favourite book from home and every class will allocate a set time to “Drop Everything and Read”.\u00a0 Don’t worry if you don’t have any books at home, the children will be able to borrow a book from the library.<\/p>\n
The committee have also planned a series of activities for each stage including book themed treasure hunts for the Infants and Middle classes and Kahoot Quizzes for the Upper primaries.<\/p>\n
In the afternoon the teachers are all going to swap around to read their favourite kid’s book to another class.<\/p>\n
