We are very excited to have acquired some new equipment for our infant playground to encourage loose parts play which helps develop skills such as creativity, problem solving and curiosity as well as developing social skills. \u00a0Loose parts are things like tyres, wooden planks, crates and plastic guttering. \u00a0Loose parts lets children play in many different ways – anything from making a pirate ship to building an assault course – the possibilities are endless!<\/p>\n
P1\/2 and P2 will be spending lots of time outdoors exploring this new equipment and might get a bit dirty! Pupils should come to school every day prepared to play outside. School uniform tops and jumpers should still be worn but children can wear trackies, leggings or older bottoms which you don\u2019t mind getting dirty.<\/p>\n
We look forward to seeing our pupils back tomorrow and can\u2019t wait to see what they create with our new equipment.<\/p>\n
