{"id":2233,"date":"2021-02-17T11:53:06","date_gmt":"2021-02-17T11:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/catrinepsmain2019\/?p=2233"},"modified":"2021-02-17T12:01:57","modified_gmt":"2021-02-17T12:01:57","slug":"2233","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/catrinepsmain2019\/2021\/02\/17\/2233\/","title":{"rendered":"Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong><u>Primary 1-3 pupils \u2013 return to school information<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>We are delighted that our P1, P2 and P3 pupils will be returning to school on a full time basis from Monday 22<sup>nd<\/sup> February, as confirmed yesterday in the First Minister\u2019s announcement. \u00a0With the health and safety of our pupils and staff being our priority, the following arrangements will be in place \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">We will continue with our staggered start and finish times to avoid congestion at the school gates.\u00a0 Primary 1\/2 and Primary 3 \u2013 start at 9.00am and finish at 3.00pm.\u00a0 Primary 2 and P4-P7 pupils accessing the school support \u2013 9.10am and 3.10pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Parents\/carers \u2013 please follow all the social distancing rules at our school gates by keeping your distance and wearing masks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">P1-3 pupils do not need to bring in school bags, PE kits or toys from home.\u00a0 They can bring in packed lunch bags.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">Lunches will be eaten in the classes.\u00a0<\/span> <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Please ensure that all school lunches are ordered in advance for your child.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">If any P1 or P2 pupil still has a school reading book at home from their first home learning pack, can this be returned please?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">We are looking forward to having our younger pupils back in school \u2013 we have really missed them and can\u2019t wait to hear our classrooms full of blethers, laughter and carry-on again!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\"><strong><u>Primary 4-7 pupils \u2013 home learning information<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">Home learning will continue for the next wee while for our P4\/5, P5\/6 and P6\/7 pupils.\u00a0 A new home learning pack will be available for collection from the school office from <u>Monday 22<sup>nd<\/sup><\/u> <u>February (between 9.30am and 2.30pm please<\/u>) and Miss Feighan, Mrs McCaig, Mrs Schendel and Mrs McKenna will continue to post daily on their class GLOW blogs, focusing on Literacy and Numeracy.\u00a0 Please email your child\u2019s teacher with any concerns\/issues\/questions \u2013 they will always get back to you and enjoy hearing from you. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">Our teachers really enjoy speaking with their class during their TEAMS calls and GLOW chats so please keep encouraging your child to join in with these interactive sessions as we know how much they benefit from having a wee chat with their teacher and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966\">As always, stay safe, take care and keep in touch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000\"><em>Mrs Govans<\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Primary 1-3 pupils \u2013 return to school information \u00a0We are delighted that our P1, P2 and P3 pupils will be returning to school on a full time basis from Monday 22nd February, as confirmed yesterday in the First Minister\u2019s announcement. \u00a0With the health and safety of our pupils and staff being our priority, the following &hellip;
