Easter Egg Competition

Primary 6 had great fun last Thursday designing and making their own creations for the Easter egg competition. There were some fantastic ideas and great creativity was shown when designing the eggs. Our overall winner was Summer – well done! Here are some pictures of our creations.

Easter Egg Competition

Once again our pupils have amazed us with their creativity and imagination and have done an amazing job of decorating their eggs. Every year we see new ideas and although there can be only one winner in each stage, the children should all be extremely proud of their creations.  Well done to all the winners who are pictured below.

Dance Summer School Invitation and Permission 2019

Exploring Road Safety

The children have been learning about road safety.

“You have to stop, look and listen before you cross the road”.

‘Look out for pedestrian crossings.’

‘ Always wear a seatbelt when we travel in a car or a bus.’

Road safety was explored through a variety of resources – table top games and drawing maps are only a few examples. The children also put their knowledge into good use when they were walking up to the primary school and back down again to the ECC.

Ordering school lunches

Please ensure you have your child’s lunch ordered for Monday 15th April to enable Auchinleck Academy to deliver the quantity required. Thank you for your continued cooperation with ordering lunches through ParentPay.

This morning the ECC children joined in the Community Clean Up and headed out to pick up litter. They worked really hard and collected quite a few bags. Thank you to Tam McKinnon for involving the ECC and inspiring them to keep Catrine tidy.
