Dolphin House Day 2
Another fulfilled day in the sun at Dolphin House. The children have enjoyed exploring and finding exciting things in the rock pools. New friendships have been made and the teachers are exhausted, but everyone is having a blast!

Good Morning from Dolphin House ☀️
Dolphin House Day 1
What a beautiful day here at Dolphin House. Our groups have been canoeing, exploring caves and going on a woodland walk. This evening we toasted marshmallows round a fire on the beach before enjoying a spectacular sunset.
Sun Cream
Due to the beautiful spell of sunshine we are having, please ensure your child has sun cream applied before they come to school. Your child can bring a sun hat to school with them to put on during break times.
Thank you.
Health Week (Wed 6th-Fri 8th)
Health week is looking to be an exciting and fun three days. The children of the Health committee have worked hard on organising all the activities, so I look to the parents now to give as much support as you can. We have a guest speaker coming in on Wednesday the 6th of June at 3:15pm and I am calling on all parents who can attend to come along and support the Health committee and school. It won’t be for too long and should give an interesting insight into what other agencies do to support Health and Well Being in schools. There will also be a fun, family sport session on Thursday the 7th of June 3:15pm-4:15pm, so I hope to see many of you at that also.
The children should wear active/sports wear on these three days and are encouraged to bring water and a healthy snack, which they will receive extra house points for. There will also be many other people coming in to support the week and fun competitions for the pupils to take part in.
I am very lucky to be joining the P7’s at Dolphin House this week but if there are any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the school and I will do my best to keep in contact.
Kind regards
Mrs Cowan and the Health Committee

School Lunch
If your child requires a school lunch tomorrow, please ensure it is ordered through Parentpay by midnight. Thank you.
Thank you!
As the school closes for the long weekend, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the pupils, staff and parents of Catrine Primary School, and the members of Catrine community, who celebrated our 50th Anniversary with us. We had 180 visitors to our school on 23rd May, enjoying both the afternoon and evening Open School sessions.
We received so many positive comments yesterday, from former pupils, staff and parents, about how much they enjoyed getting the opportunity to revisit their old classes and to view the hundreds of school photos that have been displayed throughout the school.
The pupils all visited the different classes today to view their displays about the last five decades, and we all enjoyed a slice of Catrine Primary’s 50th birthday cake today at lunchtime!
Thank you again for your continued support, and here’s to the next 50 years of quality learning and teaching at Catrine Primary School!

Walk to School Week
Well done and thank you to everyone who took part in Walk to School Week. The children certainly looked the part with their crazy hair, backwards clothing, odd socks and pyjamas! Hopefully we will all continue to develop our healthy bodies and minds as well as helping to reduce the number of cars at our school gates by walking to school whenever possible.
