Please click on the link below to access a copy of Catrine Primary School’s Follow-up Inspection Report. This is a very encouraging and positive report and I look forward to continuing the hard work and moving Catrine Primary School forward.
Please return all annual data checks, attendance procedures, ICT policy return and flu immunisation letters as soon as possible to update records.
We were very lucky to take part in a judo session run by the Commonwealth gold medal winning athlete, Louise Renicks. Primary 3/4/5 had great fun this afternoon during their session.
Primary 3/4/5 have been using blocks to explore place value. The children created models then used their place value knowledge to calculate how many blocks they used in total. This week’s homework is reinforcement of our place value work and hopefully the children will enjoy sharing their learning with you at home.
From Tuesday 29th August I will be based in Catrine ECC for the full day on a weekly basis. I am looking forward to working with the ECC staff and supporting them in continuing to move the ECC forward.
All our pupils have settled in well and we are looking forward to a successful 1st term.
P.E. days – please ensure your child has their P.E. kit with them. Pupils can leave their P.E. kit in school in a P.E. bag. P.E. kit should consist of shorts and gym shoes. Due to Health and Safety Regulations children are not allowed to wear any jewellery during P.E. sessions. If your child cannot remove their earrings by themselves, please remove the earrings before they come to school in the morning.
