Pupils have been issued with their first ‘Big Talk’ homework of the session.\u00a0 The assessment criteria for the personal presentations can\u00a0 be found below along with a copy of the homework. Title:\u00a0 My Favourite Film or Book<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n You have been given a project to prepare and present a short 5 minute talk about your favourite film or book.\u00a0 The presentation should be as detailed as possible and should include information about the genre, characters, setting and plot. \u00a0You could also include your favourite parts and the reasons why you like them, or ways you think the author or director could have made them even better. You could also use other ideas to enhance your talk e.g. PowerPoint (saved on GLOW or pen-drive), drawings, diagrams or items from home.<\/p>\n You should practise your talk at home as often as possible and use a timer to help.
