P3 have been exploring the water cycle in science this week with Miss Murdoch.<\/p>\n

The pupils had previously learned that clouds are formed from liquid and gas, which led to some of our pupils feeling curious to find out how rain is collected from the earth to the clouds.<\/p>\n

As a result of this, pupils explored the processes of the water cycle.\u00a0The pupils then put this to the test and constructed an experiment to see each process of the water cycle. Following this, pupils\u00a0observed changes to their experiment and recognised that heat from the sun was causing the water to evaporate and we\u00a0hope to see some condensation and precipitation tomorrow!<\/p>\n

The pupils could then use their knowledge of the water cycle to fill in a detailed diagram to explain processes such as evaporation, condensation and precipitation.<\/p>\n
